I am currently pursuing several certifications to solidify my background in Information Systems and Technology. Although none of the tests have yet been completed, details of each track are presented to reflect the material taken.

Certified Internet Webmaster (E-commerce track)

CIW is a vendor-neutral (non-company specific) certification that exemplifies Internet technologies and web authoring tools. The specific E-commerce track I'm following focuses on in-depth issues such as online marketing, business frameworks, transaction security, databases, HTML, XML, Java applets and more. To view the complete outline, including highlights on exam requirements, please visit my custom-made CIW page.

A+

The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for validating vendor-neutral skills expected of an entry-level computer technician. The exam proves a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

Microsoft's certification deals with administering and troubleshooting system environments running on the Windows 2000 operating system. Similar to the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), the program equips the candidate with the tools required to manage a hybrid network of up to 350 nodes.
